The AIFD Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the 2024 Grants.
2024
Grant to Underwrite AIFD® Symposium in the Amount of $27,495
- Awarded to AIFD® to provide the best in education during the 2024 AIFD® Symposium in Orlando. This Grant is funded by AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund, Jim Moretz AIFD Endowed Fund, Kirk Pamper AIFD Endowed Fund, Chong Ullom AIFD Endowed Fund and Dee Yeager AIFD Endowed Fund.
Grant to AIFD® and Four Award Winning High Schools in the Amount of $10,000
- Awarded $5,000 to AIFD® and $5,000 to four Award Winning High Schools in support of the sixteen students and four advisors attending the 2024 AIFD® Symposium in Orlando. This Grant is funded by the AIFD Foundation FFA Fund.
Grant to the FFA Fund in the Amount of $2,500
- Awarded to the FFA Fund in support of the in-person education for FFA High School Students attending the AIFD® Symposium. This Grant is funded by the AIFD Foundation Fund and the Don Stothart AIFD Endowed Fund.
Grant to support the research and development of the American Floral Trends in the Amount of $5,000 with additional support available to present the American Floral Trends Exhibit during the 2024 AIFD® Symposium in Orlando.
- Awarded to J. Keith White AIFD. This Grant and the support for the Exhibit were funded by the AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund.
Grant to support the study of Ikebana in the amount of $2,000
- Awarded to Dr. James De Prince AIFD. This Grant was funded by the AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund.
Grants to AIFD® Regional Chapters in the Amount of $500 in support a NEW Regional Chapter educational event or an existing Regional Chapter event with a NEW educational component
- 50th Club Recipient Southern Chapter

Two Grants to Regional Chapters in the Amount of $1,000 each in support of the Friends of the AIFD Foundation Regional Chapter Competition
- AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund Recipient Southern Chapter
- AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund Recipient South Central Chapter
Grants were awarded, in the amount of $500 each, to SAIFD Chapters to enhance the 2024 AIR programs. These Grants are funded by a earmarked donation to the SAIFD Fund to SAIFD Chapters at the following universities.

- University of Missouri
Grant to Florida State Florists’ Association to total up to $7,674
- Awarded to Florida State Florists’ Association in support of educational programming for the 2024 FSFA Convention. This Grant is funded by the Florida Florist Endowed Fund.

- Awarded to the FFA Fund in support of the education provided to FFA High School Students for Virtual Education and In Person Education experienced during AIFD® Symposiums. This Grant is funded by the AIFD Foundation Fund

Grant to Florida State Florists’ Association to total up to $7,047
Grant to a Florida Florist providing Catastrophic Support to Total $2,000
- Natural Disaster Assistance Grant was awarded to a retail florist in Florida to assist with property damage experienced as a result from the hurricane in 2022. This Grant was funded by the AIFD Foundation Florida Florist Endowed Fund to provide A Cornerstone of Care

- Awarded to AIFD® to provide the best in education during the 2022 AIFD Symposium in Las Vegas. This Grant was funded by AIFD Foundation Endowed Fund, Kirk Pamper AIFD Endowed Fund, Chong Ullom AIFD Endowed Fund and Dee Yeager AIFD Endowed Fund
Grant to provide Catastrophic Support to Total $1,000
- Natural Disaster Assistance Grant was awarded to a retailer in Kentucky to assist with an insurance deductible related to property damage experienced from the series of tornadoes that hit numerous states in 2021. This Grant was funded by the AIFD Foundation Catastrophic Fund to provide A Cornerstone of Care
Grant to Florida State Florists’ Association to total up to $5,400
- Awarded to Florida Florist Endowed Fund Recipient Florida State Florists’ Association in support of the 2022 FSFA Convention
